PROJECTSIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Prof. K .L Baishnab, Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering of National Institute of Technology has joined the institute in the year 17th March 1998 as Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Before joining to REC Silchar, Dr Baishnab was in Widecom Fax and Plotter Ltd as Engineer for year of around 2 years in NOIDA. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Engineering from Regional Engineering College (REC) Silchar in the branch of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Thereafter, he obtained his Master in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He obtained his PhD in Analog/ Mixed mode VLSI circuits for visual processing. Over the 22 years of Teaching experience, Dr Baishnab has been actively involved in teaching and research in the fields of both VLSI design as well as in Communication Engineering. He has delivered several expert talks on VLSI circuits design for Biomedical signal processing. In his credit, there are several SCI journal papers as well as book chapters in reputed journals like Springer, Elsevier, Tyler, and franchise,e etc. Besides these, fifteen(14) of his PhD scholars are already awarded PhD degree and 01 thesis submitted.
