Drama is an art, a way of life. Acknowledging its worth, the dramatics club, NIT Silchar
came into being. The prime objective of this club is the exposure of the natural acting talent of the students
and to up bring the quality of dramatics and dance in the same. The following clubs fall under it.
1. Dramatics Club -This club handles the drama modules of various events be it in Independence Day, Freshers, Republic day , Tecnoesis, Alumini meet, Posua etc.
DANCE
Dance Club - This club sees after the dance modules of various genres of the institute. It also organises workshops on various dance forms throughout the year.
3. Film society - This society looks after the cinematography aspect of the institute.
